CAPABILITIES

What We Build

We design and build compact robotic systems for challenging real-world problems, from the first idea to a system that actually has to survive outside the workshop.

Robotics, hardware, software and plenty of testing included.

How We Work

01

Discover

Understand the environment, the constraints and, most importantly, the actual problem.

Whenever possible, we start on site. We map the environment, identify the factors that influence the system and take a critical look at the original problem statement. Because a good solution doesn't come from making assumptions. It comes from understanding what is really going on.

Develop

Build, test, learn. Then build again.

We believe in getting to a tangible solution quickly through short iteration cycles, gradually adding complexity as we learn. We develop our own hardware and software, using the right tools and manufacturing methods for the job. The goal isn't to make the perfect design on the first try. The goal is to make progress fast, and keep improving from there.

Deploy

Test in the real world and iterate towards a system that actually works.

After development comes the fun part: finding out what breaks. We take our systems out of the workshop and beyond simulations, into the environments they were designed for. That's where unexpected problems surface, and where the most valuable lessons usually happen. Because the field doesn't care how good your simulation looked.

Why UNAMIQ

DISCOVER, DEVELOP, DEPLOY

At UNAMIQ, we focus on what happens when a project leaves the screen and enters the real world. Spreadsheets are useful. So are CAD models and simulations. But eventually, you have to find out whether the thing actually works. That's why we get into the field early. Our Discover, Develop, Deploy process is designed to turn ideas into tangible systems quickly, so we can test assumptions, learn from reality and improve fast.

UNIQUE PROBLEM. DYNAMIC SOLUTION.

You might think you need an unmanned boat. After understanding the problem, we might discover that a completely different approach works better. Maybe a helicopter. Maybe something with wheels. Maybe something nobody has built yet. Our strength is understanding the unique context of each challenge and adapting our approach accordingly. The best solution isn't always the one you expected.

TIME MATTERS

When there's a problem that needs solving, waiting around usually doesn't help. That's why speed is built into our process. We discover, develop and deploy quickly, getting from uncertainty to a tangible solution as efficiently as possible. Fast doesn't mean careless. It means learning early, testing often and spending time on the things that actually move the project forward.
